Lee Glass currently has two premises, one at Sherwood Nottingham and one at Bulwell Nottingham.The Bulwell site is the main processing plant for the glass trade, retail, glazing and processing.
Bulwell incorporates a CNC workstation for the shaping, drilling, polishing, bevelling and cut outs for large glass such as Balustrades kitchen worktops and splashbacks.
Bulwell site also has a toughening plant which basically heat treats glass so it is four or five times stronger than annealed glass. Toughened glass is used for your shelves, cabinet doors, partitions, doors and windows.A heatsoaking plant is also incorporated at Bulwell which has a particular value for our toughened safety glass in balustrades or overhead glazing as in airports, bus shelters and trams, also shopping centres.
Bulwell and Sherwood supply laminated glass for various attributes such as pyrodor and pyroguard for safety fire rated glass, noise and solar control, thermal insulation, bullet resistance or for just plain privacy and decoration.
